Dr Laurance Sidari - Podiatrist (FAAPSM)
Sports Focus Podiatry Director, Dr Laurance Sidari (FAAPSM) started this practice 48 years ago and has continued to serve the people of Western Sydney with his expertise in all areas of general practice, sports medicine, minor surgical procedures, podo-paediatrics and clinical biomechanics including the design and in-house manufacture of prescription custom made orthotics.
Dr Laurance Sidari has previously served as President and Vice President over 39 years for the Australian Podiatric Society and the Chairman of the NSW Sports Podiatry Group for over 25 years. Dr Laurance was a valuable member of the podiatry team for the 2000 Australian Olympic Team and Para- Olympic team as well as the 2006 Commonwealth Games and provided medical coverage for other events such as the Sydney to Melbourne Ultra Marathon.
Dr Laurance continues as Director in his thriving specialist podiatry clinic in Moorebank. Although his team are currently seeing patients, Dr Laurance oversees the running of the clinic and is available for input when needed.

Dr Tomas Megalaa
Podiatrist
Dr. Tomas Megalaa is an experienced podiatrist dedicated to helping people stay mobile, active, and pain-free. With many years in clinical practice, he provides comprehensive foot care ranging from routine treatment to the management of complex and high-risk conditions, including diabetic foot problems.
Tomas is known for his calm, thorough, and practical approach. He takes the time to understand each patient’s needs, focusing not only on treating current issues but also on preventing future complications. His goal is simple: keep you moving safely and confidently.
In addition to clinical practice, Tomas is a Lecturer in Public Health, where he teaches healthcare professionals about prevention of disease. This strong academic background ensures his patients receive care that is current, evidence-based, and aligned with best practice.
Dr Sara Assaad
Podiatrist
Dr Sara Assaad is an experienced Podiatrist with a strong background across diverse healthcare settings. Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr Sara is passionate about delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care tailored to every patient’s needs.
Dr Sara spent the past three years serving rural and metropolitan communities across Tamworth and Sydney’s northern, inner west, and south west suburbs, gaining extensive experience in managing a wide range of foot-related conditions.
Dr Sara provides exceptional care in:

- Diagnosis and management of lower limb conditions
- Diabetic assessment and management
Dr Nawid Zazy
Podiatrist
Dr. Nawid Zazy graduated in 2017 from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters in Podiatric Medicine. Dr Zazy's experience has led him to develop a comprehensive understanding of human movement, biomechanics and balancing the forces placed on the human body. He has also completed training in Prolotherapy injections, Dry Needling and Laser Treatment, which is used in healing soft tissue and osteoarthritis.
Dr Nawid specializes in all types of conditions such as sports injuries, developmental issues with children’s feet, diabetes, seniors foot care and workplace related injuries.
Beatrice Sidari
Senior Physiotherapist
Originally from Zurich, Switzerland, Beatrice started off in Manual Therapy and gained her Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy qualifications in the Nordic System (Kaltenborn/Evjent) in 1994.
Since 1998, Beatrice has been a physiotherapist in Sydney’s South-West, working for different physiotherapy practices and has moved into this Clinic in 2024.
Beatrice is trained in the Watson Headache® Approach (Level 1&2) and Sports Physiotherapy (Level 1&2). She has also completed courses in Pain Management through the Neuro Orthopaedic Institute Australasia (NOI) and is qualified in Lower Limb Tendinopathy Rehabilitation and basic Bowen Therapy. She is passionate about teaching small physio rehab and pilates classes since 2018. A rehab focused pilates studio is under construction at the back of the practice and will be opening soon.
Beatrice has also gained knowledge in active rehabilitation of scoliosis and been involved in gradual progressive strengthening of people suffering from Osteoporosis.
